Executive Summary

In late 2024, ASN Awards (ASN) and The Media Studios (TMS) initiated a fundamental restructure of the ASN Awards voting framework. The legacy daily-voting model had successfully driven website traffic and heightened brand awareness. But stakeholders recognized a serious vulnerability: allowing high-frequency voting left the system open to manipulation.

The strategic response was a move to a strict “one user, one vote” protocol, supported by a new voting platform and active security monitoring. The goal was clear: safeguard the awards, reduce opportunities for outside interference, and give fans a fair way to support nominees.

Following the 2026 voting period, TMS conducted a post-award review of the final results and registrant data. On October 2, 2026, TMS formally confirmed its total confidence in the results. Its review verified that the 1,227 flagged emails captured during voting were fraudulent attempts to manipulate outcomes and had been excluded from the final figures.

2023–2024: Investigating Commercial Voting Farms

Before the voting framework changed, TMS launched an investigation into commercial “voting farms”. External operations that allowed nominees to illicitly purchase hundreds of daily votes.

Across a two-year period spanning 2023 and 2024, the investigation identified more than 30 individuals actively running these “money-for-votes” operations. The activity targeted all major adult awards, making the issue broader than a single event or category.

The findings helped define the challenge for ASN: preserve the excitement and reach of fan voting while making it substantially harder to buy, automate, or coordinate votes outside the intended process.

Late 2024: A Strategic Pivot to One User, One Vote

To protect award integrity, Michael Ramos, CEO of ASN Entertainment, championed alignment with standardized global voting practices. He proposed replacing the high-frequency daily model with a strict “one user, one vote” protocol.

The change was designed to eliminate outside interference and support equitable outcomes. It also represented a clear shift in what voting success should reflect: genuine engagement from individual fans, rather than the ability to submit or purchase repeated votes.

January 2025: Platform Development and AdultFan.VIP

In early January 2025, TMS demonstrated its new AdultFan.VIP platform, integrating the restructured ASN Awards voting framework.

The system’s key features included:

  • Advanced security infrastructure capable of flagging and isolating suspicious email addresses in real time.

  • The ability to detect voting irregularities, including block voting from specific geographic regions associated with voting farms.

These capabilities were built to support the new protocol and help identify suspicious activity during the voting window.

2026: Nominations, Voting and Platform Support

Initial feedback from adult industry professionals and fans was highly positive. The community strongly embraced the “one fan, one vote” concept, and the voting platform maintained a 100% live status throughout the entire process.

TMS also resolved all 14 technical queries submitted through the platform:

ASN Awards successfully resolves all 14 technical queries, maintaining 100% live status. Categories include registration & login, vote transfer, data corrections, and system grievances, ensuring smooth operations.

The breakdown shows that most reported issues involved user understanding of registration, login, or vote changes. The single policy grievance was answered, although the email address used to submit it was later found to be inactive.

Voter Registration Metrics

ASN promoted the new system to its legacy database of more than 47,670 users, accumulated over the previous five years. The final metrics were:

The 1,227 suspicious users removed were excluded from the final figures. Their removal formed part of the system’s effort to keep the final count focused on legitimate voter participation.

Establishing a Level Playing Field

TMS monitored nominee activity throughout the voting window. The data showed a direct correlation between organic promotion and voting success: nominees who actively promoted their status on X (formerly Twitter) experienced immediate, sharp spikes in voter turnout.

The review also identified nine winners who secured victory by a considerable margin and were highly active self-promoters. These observations underscored the role of direct community outreach in a fan-voted awards process: nominees who encouraged their audiences to participate saw turnout respond.

Post-Awards Investigation and Results Validation

Publication of this report was extended to allow for a rigorous post-event interrogation of the final results and registrant data. TMS focused on confirming that no outcomes had been compromised, with particular attention to categories decided by narrow margins.

On October 2, 2026, TMS formally confirmed its total confidence in the final results to ASN. Its post-award review verified that the 1,227 flagged emails captured during the voting window were entirely fraudulent attempts to manipulate outcomes.

TMS delivered an evidenced report detailing its findings to ASN management. That report will remain confidential to protect the proprietary security systems and methodologies used to identify the fraudulent activity. The decision to withhold those technical details protects the integrity of the detection methods while making the review’s conclusion clear: TMS confirmed confidence in the final results.

The real ASN Awards trophy represents the recognition at the heart of this work: an award should reflect genuine support, and the process behind it should be worthy of that recognition.

The Road Ahead: 2027 ASN Awards

The 2026 voting integrity milestone sets an important standard for the next awards cycle. The 2027 ASN Awards take place September 16–19, 2027, at Club Vegas in Las Vegas, formerly Whispers Las Vegas, now under new management and undergoing extensive facility improvements. The event is capped at 500 guests across four days.

Nominations for the 2027 ASN Awards do not open until next year.
